"Agile Japan, 2011", the 3rd annual Japanese Agile conference was held in Japan on April 15th, just a month after the enormous earthquake and tsunami.
This year, Linda Rising was welcomed as the keynote speaker and talked about "Fearless Change" and her favorite patterns.
The delivery of her keynote speech with her personal messages for this disaster touched many of audience's hearts and encouraged the whole agile community in Japan.

Abstract:
Documenting user requirements - writing Use Cases or writing User Stories in an Agile context - is always a challenging phase in software development.
There are no standard processes or notations defined, and the only understanding is that the primary factors that make this activity effective are communication and facilitation skills.
In this paper, I propose using mind mapping that focuses on those primary factors to explore “User Wish”- a vague shape of user requirements before it is written into a form of requirements.
Then I take this concept one step further and model convert resulting mind maps into UML.

* Aug 8, CEO, Kenji Hiranabe speaks at UK Lean Conference 2009
Change Vision CEO, Kenji Hiranabe will speak at UK Lean Conference in 2009 as a keynote speaker.
He will be introducing examples of process improvements (Kaizen) of Japanese factories and demonstrating how the Toyota Production System (TPS) concepts constantly improve the whole work environment.
He will explore the findings from TPS concepts and Kaizen examples by developing Mind Maps with attendants.
The UK Lean Conference will be held in London from 27 to 29th of September and Kenji's keynote speech will be on 3rd day, 29th.
